On January 11th, 2016, Professor Aaron Bobick, dean of the School of Engineering & Applied Science fromWashingtonUniversityinSt. Louis, visited our school along with his colleagues Nick Benassi, Edward Borbely and Guy M. Genin to discuss the cooperation of undergraduate training program. Dean Feng Zhenping, Vice Dean Wang Qiuwang met with the delegation fromWashingtonUniversityin Room 1410 of the North 2ndBuilding.
During the meeting, Dean Feng extended warm welcome to the arrival of the guests. Vice Dean Wang made an introduction about our school. Professor Aaron Bobick talked about the history and current situation ofWashingtonUniversityinSt. Louisand School of Engineering & Applied Science. Later, both sides discussed the research and cooperation of high effective exploration and application of energy and the future cooperation of students training program. In July 2015, XJTU signed MOU withWashingtonUniversityinSt. Louis. In December 2015, both universities signed a dual degree program. Based on the previous cooperation, Professor Aaron Bobick would like to sign an agreement with our school in 3+2 program and discussed the problems of student selection and scholarship in detail.
